An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist to join Malta Marriott Resort & Spa. 

We are seeking a professional Receptionist to manage the seamless arrival and departure of all guests. You will be responsible for delivering efficient front desk operations, handling guest inquiries with care, and ensuring that all services provided consistently meet Marriott standards. Through excellent communication, attention to detail, and a guest-focused approach, you will contribute to an exceptional and welcoming experience that meets and exceeds guest expectations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Be knowledgeable on all Front Office Standard operating procedures and systems used. 
  • Maintain good working relationships and open lines of communication with all other departments and own team.
  • Verify that accurate room status counts are taken at the proper times and that the information is relayed to those concerned.
  • Maintain continuous contact with Hotel Guests to ensure that any problems or guest challenges are quickly, efficiently and courteously.
  • Work within the Hotel budget, practice selling techniques, maintain continuous control of the Room allocations.
  • Ensure that all cashing and credit policies are followed.
  • Wear proper uniform at all times.
  • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
  • Work under the direct supervision of your superior
  • Meeting and exceeding Marriott Bonvoy Guest thresholds. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have previous similar experience within a 5-star hotel environment 
  • Have excellent communication skills 
  • Be able to address guests' needs and demands 
  • Have an eye for detail and a smart appearance 
  • Be a Team player 
  • Flexible with working hours
