As a Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for recording and processing all reservation inquiries made by phone, or e-mail efficiently and accurately, whilst converting inquiries into sales in order to maximise revenue and occupancy.&nbsp;

<h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3>

	<li align="left">Creating and maintaining reservations in the property management system;</li>
	<li align="left">Handling the internal Reservations e-mail inbox;</li>
	<li align="left">Handling guest requests over the phone and via e-mail in a professional manner;</li>
	<li align="left">Applying sell-through strategies when quoting availability for reservations;</li>
	<li align="left">Actively monitoring availability;</li>
	<li align="left">Maintaining Online Travel Agency (OTA) and third party extranets, reservations and messaging systems;</li>
	<li align="left">CTAC processing &amp; submission to Finance</li>
	<li align="left">Inventory &amp; Reservation Reconciliation</li>
	<li align="left">Maintaining a positive inter-departmental flow of communication &ndash; particularly with the Front Office, Concierge, Service, Sales and Finance teams;</li>
	<li align="left">Initiating and sustaining communication regarding Groups with the Sales Managers and Events team;</li>
	<li align="left">Maintaining an effective filing system;</li>
	<li align="left">Processing Advance Payments;</li>
	<li align="left">Running the Daily, Weekly and Seasonal Reports together with their relative tasks;</li>
	<li align="left">Verifying and updating reservation cancellations;</li>
	<li align="left">Managing No Shows via their relative booking channels and charging guests accordingly;</li>
	<li align="left">Verifying reservations entered the day before to ensure reservation, rate and revenue integrity;</li>
	<li align="left">Entering and maintaining Group Rooming lists;</li>
	<li align="left">Upselling when possible;</li>
	<li align="left">Responding to guest queries;</li>
	<li align="left">Checking Tour Operator Early Booking Discount lists;</li>
	<li align="left">Applying discounts to applicable reservations;</li>
</ul>
