An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Room Service Attendant to join Malta Marriott Resort & Spa. 

The Room Service Attendant is responsible for delivering food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a friendly, professional and timely manner while ensuring the highest standards of service, cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role plays a key part in creating memorable in-room dining experiences and supporting departmental efficiency.

Essential functions:

• Deliver room service orders promptly, accurately and courteously to guest rooms.
• Provide high-quality food and beverage service while following hotel standards and cost-control procedures.
• Set up trays and trolleys in line with presentation, portioning, and hygiene guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, corridors, and guest floors, collecting used trays and dishes promptly.
• Ensure all bills are accurate and closed correctly prior to guest departure.
• Prepare mise-en-place and trolleys for service and subsequent shifts.
• Ensure equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware are clean and in good working order.
• Communicate guest feedback, requests, or issues to supervisors.
• Assist colleagues and night teams when required to ensure uninterrupted guest service.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar room service or food & beverage role.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional and friendly approach.
• Good level of written and spoken English (additional languages are an asset).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Well-groomed, with a strong awareness of hygiene, safety, and service standards.
