An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Loss Prevention Officer to join Malta Marriott Resort & Spa.
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented professional to oversee night audit operations and hotel activities during the overnight shift, ensuring accurate reporting and a high standard of guest service. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for completing night audit procedures, supervising overnight operations, and maintaining Marriott brand standards.
Main responsibilities:
- Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and fire life safety equipment to ensure the safety and security of guests, associates, and hotel property in accordance with Marriott standards.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, accidents, disturbances, and security incidents following approved safety and emergency response procedures.
- Investigate theft, property loss, and suspicious activity, ensuring proper documentation and reporting through Marriott systems.
- Prepare accurate and timely incident, accident, and shift activity reports.
- Enforce safety, security, and access control policies while maintaining a professional, guest-focused presence consistent with Marriott service values.
- Support fire prevention efforts, evacuation procedures, and emergency response protocols.
- Assist guests and associates with safety-related concerns while upholding Marriott’s commitment to a safe and welcoming environment.
- Control access to restricted areas and secure sensitive locations.
- Coordinate with hotel leadership and local authorities when required.
