We are looking for a professional Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join the F&B Management team.
The selected candidate will will be assisting in the properties’ various food and beverage operations. The successful candidate will have a passion for food, beverage and service and keen to drive results and achieve targets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage given F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards;
- Preserve excellent levels of customer service;
- Identify customers’ needs;
- Assist F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented team members;
- Getting involved in establishing department policies and procedures;
- Provide a two way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork;
- Enforce all relevant Health & Safety processes in order to comply with local legislation
- Conduct regular performance reviews with direct reports and provide guidance towards personal competency and technical training/development opportunities;
- Align training strategies and conduct regular training sessions with the team in order to enhance the relevant skills to performing their duties with maximum efficiency.
The selected candidate must:
- Have at least a Diploma/Degree in Food & Beverage Services management, Hotel Management or equivalent with minimum 3 years of experience in hotel operations;
- Be result oriented, a strategic thinker with strong leadership and mentoring skills;
- Be an excellent communicator and organiser, with a result-oriented and hands-on approach;
- Be a team player;
- Must be able to work long flexible hours including weekends.
