Malta Marriott Resort & Spa is looking to recruit a Guest Relations team member to join their team on a full-time basis. As a Guest Relations, you will be responsible for managing the needs of VIP Guests, ensuring an exceptional experience, and informing other team members of any special requirements. Your role will involve creating a lasting positive impression through your attention to detail and exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued throughout their stay.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Meet, greet and direct Guests who enter the lobby area
  • Assist the Front Office Team when required 
  • Serve as the main point of contact for VIP Guests and ensure hotel departments are fully briefed on their requirements
  • Seek verbal feedback from customers on a regular basis and respond to all Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Serve as a point of contact for long-stay Guests ensuring they feel comfortable and can ask advice or information
  • Manage, record and resolve promptly Guest or customer complaints
  • Ensure a very high level of customer service is constantly maintained for Reception, Lobby area and Executive Club
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all facilities and services provided within the hotel and identify opportunities for up-selling and promoting when appropriate
  • Communicate with the Front Office Manager and track and reward regular Guests for their loyalty and creativity
  • Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas
  • Assist with other departments, as necessary

 What we’re looking for:

  • Have previous similar experience within a 5 star hotel environment
  • Able to speak in English and another European language
  • Have excellent communication skills
  •  Be able to address guests needs and demands
  • Have an eye for detail and a smart appearance
  • Be a team player
  • Preferably, have experience with Opera
