Primarily responsible to Greet and welcome all guest to the hotel and assist guests with their luggage on arrival. Porters will ensure that the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are demonstrated at all times, and that all guest requests are dealt with in a prompt and courteous manner. Porters are also responsible to collect and distribute post, parcels, deal with general enquiries and ensure the lobby areas are always clean and tidy.

	<li>To make the arriving guest feel welcomed and ensure a positive first impression.</li>
	<li>Welcome the guests.</li>
	<li>Taking care of arrival experience &ndash; welcome drinks, hot and cold scented towels.</li>
	<li>Establish guests name and use it at least twice during the conversation.</li>
	<li>Unload the guest luggage, make sure no luggage has been left in the car or in the car booth.</li>
	<li>Ensure collection and delivery guest luggage and equipment in an efficient and timely manner.</li>
	<li>Escort guests to room, placing luggage in room assigned by front desk.</li>
	<li>Ensure the guest that adequate transportation facilities are available to and from hotel and local destinations.</li>
	<li>Direct guests to reception.</li>
	<li>Make eye contact and smile.</li>
	<li>Maintain continuous contact with Hotel Guests.</li>
	<li>Uphold the Hotels commitment to gracious hospitality and follow through on staff courtesy training programs.</li>
	<li>Taking care of flags, mail and deliveries.</li>
	<li>Prepare all requested reports and data as needed.</li>
	<li>Wear proper uniform at all times.</li>

Main responsibilities include:
•	Being responsible for the kitchen operation during shift worked, in the absence of the Head Chef.
•	Ensuring that revised or new Marriott standards are upheld in the product;

Requirements: 
•	Possesses a certificate or Diploma in Food Preparation from a Catering Institute
•	Minimum of 3 years working experience as chef in an a la carte setting
•	Knowledge of all Food &amp; Beverage standards, HACCP, quality presentation, service and products and local health and sanitation standards;
•	Has proven track record of leading a team
•	Ability to direct and plan food preparation
•	Ability to provide consistent food quality
•	Demonstrates proper and safe usage of all kitchen equipment;
•	Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation;
•	Ability to support the control of food cost;
•	Ability to clearly define productivity standards with quality requirements and methods required to obtain them;
•	Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently;
