Overview

BRIEF ROLE

As a Kitchen Intern at Malta Marriott hotel, you are expected to collaborate with our Kitchen and F&B Team in the stages of providing an exceptional experience. This internship will help you to progress acquire Culinary related skills and knowledge on various aspects in your career. Also, your role is to support the Team in developing and implementing procedures.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Helping into the day-to-day running of the department
  • Learn to ensure high quality and consistency of service as per Hotel’s standards.
  • Optimize the supply chain, if necessary, in particular by signaling the products arriving out of stock
  • Respect the health and safety rules in force at the establishment.
  • Helping in the preparation of dishes & Mise en place
  • Assisting other stations as assigned by the Chef de Partie.
  • Learning kitchen tasks: peeling, storing, cleaning, preparing.
  • Helping in the preparation of desserts and pastries & how to present dishes.
