BRIEF ROLE
As a Front Office intern at Malta Marriott Hotel, you are expected to collaborate with our Front Office Team in the stages of providing an exceptional experience from check-in through check-out. This internship will help you to acquire Front Office-related skills and knowledge on various aspects of your career. Also, your role is to support the Team with daily administrative duties in developing and implementing procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Helping with the day-to-day running of the department including mailings, answering the phone, and filing
- Understand and operate the Hotel´s Property Management System
- Know room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates, as well as other services of the property
- Familiarize yourself with our Marriotts Bonvoy Loyalty programs
- Learn to ensure high quality and consistency of service as per Hotel’s standards
- Register guests and assigns rooms as well as accommodate special requests whenever possible
- Offer personalized service to every guest
- Coordinate room status updates with the Housekeeping other department such as Restaurant, Maintenance & Reservation
- Know safety, emergency, and accident procedures & prevention policies
- Welcome guests and colleagues in a polite and friendly manner
