BRIEF ROLE

As a Food and Beverage Intern at Malta Marriott Hotel, you are expected to collaborate with our F&B Team in the stages of providing an exceptional experience. This internship will help you to acquire F&B-related skills and knowledge which will allow you to progress in various aspects of your career. Also, your role is to support the Team in developing and implementing procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Helping with the day-to-day running of the department
• Learn to ensure high quality and consistency of service as per Hotel’s standards
• Offer personalized service to every guest
• Know safety, emergency, and accident procedures & prevention policies
• Welcome guests and colleagues in a polite and friendly manner
• Help to present the menus, daily specials, drinks, etc
• Take orders from customers
• Check and manage stocks of materials
• Optimize the supply chain if necessary, in particular by signaling the products arriving out of stock
• Respect the health and safety rules in force at the establishment.
